This makes my heart all fuzzy because I feel like this whenever I go to a home improvement store. The old guys there don’t realize just because I’m a 20-something lady buy herself in a Home Depot doesn’t mean I don’t know how to use tools. I’m usually making something up and just checking out my options because I FIX STUFF ON MY OWN! Once I explain what I am doing, they get confused and back away because they don’t actually know how to help because I am not doing something basic like installing a sink fixture.
