The text that was apparently on the Komen site is not longer there and now says this.
I watched the video they have on the site and it just pissed me off more.
This video is so ridiculous and doesn’t explain anything. She says none of the current grants will be affected, but they are making all of these changes to put the money to better use. She also says they want the money going directly to the provider of the mammogram. To me this means low-income women would be less likely to get an exam in the first place, let alone a full mammogram. The first steps are the most important. Quit buying pink shit (which doesn’t help as much as people think) and give to Planned Parenthood.
